Wigan, Greater Manchester Tradewind Recruitment Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Location: Tyldesley Start Date: End of September Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for a full-time role? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a versatile and passionate HLTA for a welcoming primary school based on the outskirts of Wigan. This is a full-time position working 5 days a week, starting at the end of September. As an HLTA, you will play a pivotal role across the school, stepping in to lead classrooms and maintain a high standard of learning in the absence of the class teacher or during scheduled PPA time. Key Responsibilities: Delivering pre-planned lessons across Nursery and reception. Managing classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment. Collaborating with teaching assistants and class teachers to provide feedback on pupil progress. What We're Looking For A formal HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience/teaching qualification).
