Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of various outdoor spaces, ensuring that they are clean, safe, and inviting for the community. Your primary duties will include mowing, edging, and trimming lawns, as well as planting and maintaining flower beds, shrubs, and trees. You will also be tasked with litter picking, ensuring pathways and public areas are free from debris, and assisting with seasonal tasks such as leaf collection and snow clearance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticultural practices and experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping. A valid driving license is essential, as you will be required to travel to different sites using company vehicles. You should possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a keen eye for detail. Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are also important.
