About the Role

As a Maths Teacher in this specialist SEN school, you'll be instrumental in delivering engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students with a range of special educational needs. You'll inspire a love for numbers, help students develop critical thinking skills, and support them in achieving their full academic potential, often through highly individualized approaches. This role involves planning and delivering differentiated lessons to cater to diverse learning styles and needs, fostering a positive, encouraging, and highly supportive classroom environment.


We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Possesses a strong background and proven experience in teaching Mathematics, ideally with prior experience in an SEN setting or a strong desire to work with students with special educational needs.
  • Is skilled at creating highly engaging and accessible lessons that motivate students with varied learning profiles.
  • Is passionate about fostering a love for learning in all students and can inspire academic progress in a specialist environment.
  • Can collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff, as well as parents and the wider school community.
