Grounds Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grounds Operative to join our team, responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of our outdoor facilities. The ideal candidate will perform a range of tasks, including mowing, trimming, and planting, as well as maintaining pathways and ensuring that all outdoor areas are clean and safe. You will work closely with other team members to uphold high standards of landscaping and contribute to the overall environment of our premises.

Key responsibilities include monitoring plant health, applying fertilizers and pesticides as needed, and conducting regular inspections of the grounds to identify any maintenance requirements. The Grounds Operative will also assist in the setup and take down of outdoor events, manage waste disposal, and utilize various landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. A strong emphasis on teamwork and communication is essential, as you will be collaborating with multiple departments to ensure our grounds are always in excellent condition.

To succeed in this role, candidates should have previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping, along with a valid driver's license. A strong understanding of horticultural practices and safety standards is preferred.
