Specialty Trainee - Emergency Medicine - Mater Infirmorum Hospital
Locum Middle Grade (Specialty Trainee) required for Emergency Department cover at the Mater Infirmorum Hospital (MIH), Belfast Health and Social Care Trust. Shifts available from 7–9 August 2026, covering afternoon/evening patterns (13:00–21:00).
The MIH Emergency Department provides acute emergency care services as part of Belfast Trust's ED network. The role involves senior clinical decision-making for undifferentiated emergency presentations, managing patient flow, supervising junior staff, and liaising with specialty teams for admissions and referrals.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced emergency medicine doctors seeking flexible afternoon/evening shifts at a well-established Belfast hospital.
Requirements:
- ST3+ or equivalent experience in Emergency Medicine
- Valid GMC registration with licence to practise
- Right to work in the UK
- Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance
- Professional indemnity insurance
- Minimum 2 professional references
