Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of various outdoor spaces, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and visually appealing. Your duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and maintaining flower beds. You will also be expected to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Attention to detail is crucial, as you will be required to identify and address issues such as weeds, pests, and general wear and tear in the grounds.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance practices. You should be physically fit, as the role involves manual labor and working outdoors in varying weather conditions. A valid driver’s license is preferred, along with experience in grounds maintenance or a related field. Additionally, strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
