Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Security Officer to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and staff. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the premises, deterring and preventing theft, and enforcing company policies. You will conduct regular patrols, both inside and outside of the store, to identify and address any potential security risks. Additionally, you will be the first point of contact for any security incidents, responding promptly and effectively to emergencies while maintaining a calm demeanor under pressure.

Your duties will include observing customer behavior, reporting suspicious activity, and collaborating with store management to implement loss prevention strategies. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of incidents and preparing detailed reports for management review. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to interact with customers, staff, and law enforcement when necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience in retail security or a related field is preferred, along with a valid security license.
