Retail Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated Retail Security Officer to join our team in ensuring the safety and security of our retail environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the premises, preventing theft, and maintaining a safe shopping experience for customers and staff. Key duties include conducting regular patrols of the store, monitoring CCTV systems, and responding promptly to incidents or alarms. You will also be required to engage with customers and staff to promote a secure atmosphere, while maintaining professionalism at all times.

In addition to your security responsibilities, you will assist in the training of new staff on security protocols and procedures. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle difficult situations with composure. Previous experience in retail security or a related field is preferred, along with a strong understanding of security practices and emergency response procedures.
