About the role
Specialist high growth engineering and manufacturing business with a multi- national customer base. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an Electrical Production Technician to their production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced technician with a background in electrical assembly, wiring, and testing to join a well-established organisation that values quality, innovation, and continuous development.

Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, assemble and test electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies.
- Build and crimp complex wiring harnesses to detailed specifications.
- Solder electrical control boards and associated components.
- Conduct calibration and testing of specialist high-voltage electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on electrical and associated equipment.
- Follow engineering drawings, technical instructions, work instructions, and production data packs.
- Complete production job cards and quality documentation accurately.
- Ensure workshop tools and equipment are maintained and remain within calibration requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute positively to the wider production team.
About You
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) or time-served electrical engineering/manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience within an electronics or electrical manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience building wiring harnesses and working with electrical assemblies.
• Confident using a variety of hand tools and workshop equipment.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience working on high-voltage systems would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documentation.
• Willing to learn, develop new skills, and undertake further training.
• Organised, proactive and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with colleagues and stakeholders.
