Secondary Schools (Wolverhampton & Surrounding Areas)
Short‑Term & Long‑Term Roles Available
Are you an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to grow in confidence, build valuable classroom experience, and secure a role that supports your development? Zest Education is currently recruiting passionate and dedicated secondary ECTs for a range of placements across Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Whether you’d like to explore different school settings or step straight into a longer‑term teaching post, we have immediate and September opportunities available.
About the Roles
As a Secondary ECT working with Zest Education, you will:
- Teach within your specialist subject across KS3–KS4
- Develop your practice in supportive, well‑structured school environments
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Deliver engaging, high‑quality lessons that motivate learners of all abilities
- Gain experience that can contribute directly toward your ECT induction
We work with a broad range of secondary schools—from large academies to smaller community schools—giving you the flexibility to find the environment where you’ll thrive.
Who We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from ECTs who are:
- Passionate about teaching and improving young people’s outcomes
- Adaptable, confident, and eager to develop professionally
- Strong communicators with good behaviour‑management skills
- Able to plan and deliver well‑structured lessons within their specialist subject
- Working towards or already holding QTS through a UK‑recognised route

Safeguarding

Minimum Requirement: Recent school‑based or youth‑based experience within the last 5 years (UK curriculum).
Salary: Dependent on experience, training, and qualifications.
