Teacher- KS2

A forward‑thinking and inclusive primary school in South Birmingham is seeking a qualified KS2 Teacher (QTS/PGCE essential) to join its two‑form‑entry team. The school is known for its strong community ethos, high expectations, and collaborative approach across year groups.

What the role involves

• Leading a KS2 class with well‑structured teaching, clear routines, and a strong understanding of the upper‑primary curriculum.
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across core and foundation subjects, ensuring pupils are challenged, supported, and motivated.
• Using assessment effectively to identify next steps, close gaps, and secure strong progress for all learners.
• Creating a positive classroom culture that promotes independence, resilience, and a love of learning.
• Working closely with the two other teachers in the year group to share planning, resources, and best practice.
• Building strong relationships with families and contributing to wider school life, including clubs, trips, and enrichment activities.
