Freelance Senior Brand Designer

This studio is a 20-person Los Angeles creative practice working across consumer branding; we’re talking food and beverage, lifestyle, entertainment, technology and culture.

Recent work includes brand launches for high-visibility consumer products, including a rebrand for a celebrity-owned energy drink. The point is scale of visibility: the launches this studio designs tend to be the ones people end up talking about.

The Role
You’d lead the creation of brand identity systems from concept through production – the craft layer that turns strategy into something a consumer actually reacts to. The work is systems, not isolated logos: flexible visual worlds that hold up across packaging, digital, campaigns and product ecosystems.

You’d drive key accounts directly, working with clients through the full lifecycle rather than picking up components at the tail end. This is a hands-on senior role with real ownership. The studio’s approach is to generate several visual directions for a client, each a different path the brand could grow into. That’s the level of conceptual authority you’d be trusted with.

The Package
$750 – $850 per day
Remote US working (East/West Coast hours)
Rolling contract structure 

The Person
You’re a Senior Brand Designer several years into a career built on identity work, likely freelancing now or coming from a consumer-focused studio. You’ve led projects end to end and your portfolio shows systems thinking – how a brand’s character scales across touchpoints.

Your strongest work sits in consumer categories, and you’re US-based, able to work coast-to-coast hours, and ready to drive key accounts without a long ramp-up.
