Stockport, Greater Manchester NHS Professionals Job Title: Administrator Location: Stopford House, Stockport SK1 3XE Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm Trust Location: Greater Manchester ICB Role type: Temporary for 3 months with possibility of extension Reference: 90387 Role details The post holder will be required to provide and receive information of a complex and sensitive nature and act as a central reference point for administration work tasks. They will also be expected to communicate with members of the public answering queries and disseminating information from colleagues and other professionals. Duties to include but not limited to: * The post holder will be required to be the first point of contact for requests for tasks from colleagues, they will be expected to understand a clear brief and complete varied administration tasks. The post holder will be expected to make judgements and decisions in relation to generalist queries received comparing a limited range of options and facts to make a decision. This will involve reviewing requests for work, prioritising given a range of factors, and seeking or providing further information * Plan and organise tasks which have been received. * The post holder will also carry out both routine and non-routine tasks, prioritise tasks and make judgements on timescales for completing them * Data management including data entry, data manipulation and general data and word processing using Excel, Internet, email and filing of records * Provide non-clinical advice to service users and their relatives/representatives who contact the Continuing and Complex Healthcare team * Provide advice and support in respect of the process of applying for NHS funding for their packages of care This role may require you to show evidence of vocational level 3 qualification or at least 2 years relevant experience. You’ll learn the following whilst working at the trust: 1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS 2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times 3.
