About the role
NRL are recruiting for one of the world’s leading specialists in the field of drive and control technologies. Under the brand name the company supplies customers with tailored solutions for driving, controlling, and moving industrial applications, factory automation equipment, mobile applications, and renewable power generation.
At our plant in Glenrothes, Scotland we design, develop, and produce radial piston motors working in partnership with world renowned international OEMs in industries such as material handling, construction, and forestry machinery.
CNC Machinist
Glenrothes
Initial temp contract for a period of 3 months but could lead to full time position for the right candidate
Likely to be continental shifts (12 hours) – 4 on 4 off or 3 shift – Monday to Friday 37 hours, day, back, night.
Pay rate:Continental hourly rate including premium - £22.763 shift hourly rate including premium - £20.20
Key Requirements:
Experience working with Fanuc and Siemens control systems.
Experience using CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment would be advantageous.
Ability to work to tight tolerances and accurately interpret engineering drawings and CNC programs.
Flexible approach to working hours and responsibilities.
Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting speeds and feeds, geometric tolerances, and tooling.
Experience within a multi-functional engineering/manufacturing environment.
Strong initiative, organisational skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Completed machining apprenticeship and relevant industry experience.
Candidates MUST a UK resident, be within travelling distance from site and have the RTW in the UK
