KS2 Teaching Assistant Job – Castle Vale, Birmingham

Location: Castle Vale, Birmingham

Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Part-Time

 

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a supportive primary school? We’re seeking a motivated individual to join a welcoming school community in Castle Vale, Birmingham, working closely with Key Stage 2 pupils to support learning, development, and academic progress.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in a school setting who is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a KS2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support teaching and learning across the Key Stage 2 curriculum
  • Work with pupils in small groups and provide 1:1 support when required
  • Assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, resources, and classroom organisation
  • Promote positive behaviour and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment
  • Encourage pupil engagement, confidence, and academic growth

Ideal Candidate Profile
