The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with additional needs
- Assist with learning activities and adapted curriculum tasks
- Help maintain a positive, safe and nurturing classroom environment
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff
- Encourage pupils’ independence, confidence and progress
- Support emotional regulation and communication needs
About You
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience working with children or young people (SEN experience beneficial)
- A positive, patient and compassionate approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to adapt to different needs and learning styles
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
Previous school experience is an advantage but not essential
