Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
Barnsley
£100–£130 per day
Are you passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs? Do you thrive on building strong relationships and creating a supportive environment where every child can succeed?
Provide Education is recruiting SEND Support Staff to join an exciting new specialist SEND provision in the Barnsley area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a growing team from the very beginning, helping to shape a nurturing, inclusive setting where children feel safe, valued and ready to learn.
This role is about finding the right person. Previous SEND experience and qualifications are desirable, but they are not essential if you have the right attitude, confidence and willingness to learn. The school is looking for someone who can get stuck in from day one, make a positive first impression, and quickly establish trusting relationships with both children and their families.
The RoleYou will support children with a range of SEND needs, working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide personalised support that helps each child engage with learning, develop confidence and achieve their individual goals. Every child is unique, so you’ll adapt your approach to meet their specific needs while promoting their wellbeing and independence.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Confident, approachable and proactive.
- Able to build positive relationships quickly with children, families and colleagues.
- Patient, understanding and able to adapt to individual needs.
- A strong team player who is willing to get involved and support wherever needed.
- Passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
What you’ll receive:
- Full-time and part-time opportunities.
- Competitive pay of £100–£130 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and responsibilities.
- Ongoing support from your dedicated Provide Education SEND consultant.
- The opportunity to be part of an exciting new provision from the very beginning.
- Valuable SEND experience with opportunities for long-term and permanent positions.
If you’re looking for a rewarding role where you can make a lasting impact and help shape a brand-new specialist provision, we’d love to hear from you!
