Position: Full-Time SEND Teaching Assistant

Duration: Minimum 1 half term, with potential for longer-term placement

We are currently recruiting experienced and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistants to work in schools across Athersley from September.

These are full-time opportunities offering the chance to secure a longer-term placement, with a minimum commitment of one half term and the potential for the role to continue beyond this.
The Role

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Pay starting from £95 per day
• September start
• Minimum 1 half term, with potential for a longer-term placement
• Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
• Working alongside teachers and support staff to help pupils reach their full potential
• Providing both academic and pastoral support where required

We Are Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within a SEND setting
• A patient, caring and supportive approach
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
• Someone who is reliable, committed and confident working as part of a school team
• Relevant SEND experience is desirable, but transferable experience will also be considered
