Senior Project Manager - GIS Substation Construction
Aberdeen with some travel to the Islands
Up to £800 p/d + Expenses
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of a £500m+ GIS Substation construction programme within a major energy infrastructure project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the construction and commissioning of large-scale GIS substations.
- Manage Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, contractors, and key stakeholders.
- Oversee NEC3/NEC4 contract management, change control, and commercial performance.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to regulatory standards.
- Manage supply chain partners from ECI through to construction delivery.
- Provide strong leadership, governance, and stakeholder management.
Essential Experience:
- Proven track record delivering major GIS substation construction projects.
- Strong NEC contract management experience.
- Experience leading large-scale infrastructure, transmission, or energy projects.
- Excellent commercial, contractor, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrable experience leading high-performing project teams.
