Service Engineer – Industrial Doors & Loading Bay Equipment

TSM Technical is recruiting on behalf of an industry-leading provider of industrial doors and loading bay equipment. Due to continued growth, we are looking for experienced Service Engineers to join the business across multiple locations throughout the Midlands and East Midlands.

Working from home, you'll cover customer sites within your local region, carrying out the service, maintenance, fault finding and repair of industrial doors and loading bay equipment.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair industrial doors, dock levellers and associated loading bay equipment.

• Diagnose and rectify both mechanical and electrical faults.

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown repairs.

• Assist with installations, commissioning and warranty work when required.

• Work independently from home, travelling to commercial and industrial customer sites.

• Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rota with standby and call-out payments.

About You

• Previous experience servicing and maintaining industrial doors and/or loading bay equipment.

• Strong mechanical skills, including servicing, repairs and component replacement.

• Good electrical fault-finding experience, particularly on control circuits.

• 18th Edition qualification is desirable but not essential.

• Full UK driving licence.

• Self-motivated with excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.
