About the role
Pallet Repairer & Pallet Sorter
š Location: Carrington
ā° Hours:Ā Starting hours: Monday to Friday 7am - 3pm before moving to a rotating shift: Monday ā Friday, 06:00amā2:00pm / 2:00pmā10:00pm
š° Pay: Ā£12.71 - Ā£14.00 per hour
š Contract: Temporary ongoing (long term)Ā
Key Responsibilities:
ā¢ Inspecting pallets for damage or defects
ā¢ Sorting pallets based on size, condition, and type
ā¢ Repairing damaged pallets using hand and power tools
ā¢ Removing broken boards and replacing them with new timber
ā¢ Stacking and organising pallets in designated areas
ā¢ Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
ā¢ Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
ā Previous experience in pallet repair, warehouse work, or manual labour is preferred but not essential
ā Ability to use basic hand and power tools
ā Good attention to detail when inspecting pallets
ā Physically fit and able to handle manual work
ā Reliable and able to work rotating shifts
ā Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
