LOCATION: Greater Manchester
SALARY: Up to £85,000 (DOE)

THE ROLE:
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Residential Development Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly successful property team within a leading full service commercial law firm. The role will focus on residential development and plot sales, acting for housebuilders, SME developers, property traders and investors on a varied caseload. You will deal with site assembly, residential development schemes, plot sales, refinancing and wider residential property matters, while working closely with a team of paralegals to manage the day to day progression of transactions. The role also offers the opportunity to build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the residential development team.

THE CANDIDATE:
Applications are sought from Solicitors or Legal Executives with 3-5 years' PQE and proven experience in residential development, plot sales or new build sales. You will have experience managing a varied caseload of residential transactions, including sales, purchases and refinancing, together with the ability to deal directly with developer and SME clients. Experience drafting estate documentation would be advantageous, as would some commercial property experience. Previous supervisory or management experience is desirable but not essential. The successful candidate will be confident working independently with minimal supervision, highly organised and able to manage a demanding caseload while meeting developer deadlines and targets.

THE FIRM:
This opportunity is with a highly regarded full service commercial law firm with a strong regional reputation and an established client base across the North West and wider UK. The firm offers high quality work within a successful and collaborative property team, acting for a diverse range of businesses, developers and investors. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team where you will have genuine responsibility, quality client exposure and the opportunity to play a key role in the continued development of the residential development practice.
