Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of our grounds, ensuring they are clean, safe, and well-presented. Key duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, planting flowers, and maintaining flower beds. You will also be expected to operate a variety of landscaping equipment, including mowers, blowers, and trimmers, while adhering to safety guidelines and best practices. Additionally, conducting regular inspections of the grounds to identify any maintenance needs is essential, as well as reporting any issues to the management team promptly.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a passion for horticulture. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred, but we are also open to training motivated individuals looking to start their career in this field. A valid driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions are essential. Strong communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results are key attributes we are looking for.
