Security Officer-Part Time

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of our facilities, personnel, and visitors. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the premises, and responding promptly to any incidents or emergencies. You will also be tasked with enforcing access control policies, checking identification, and ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

In addition to your security duties, you will be responsible for preparing incident reports and maintaining a log of daily activities. Collaboration with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services may also be required in the event of an incident. Successful candidates will have a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of integrity, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as well as a valid security license.
