Retail Relief Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Retail Relief Security Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for both customers and staff within a retail setting. Key responsibilities include monitoring premises through regular patrols, responding to incidents, and addressing any suspicious activities or behaviors. You will work closely with store management to implement security protocols and ensure compliance with company policies, while also assisting in training staff on security awareness and emergency procedures.

The ideal candidate will have strong observational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen sense of judgment. Previous experience in a security role, particularly within the retail sector, is highly desirable. You should be capable of remaining calm under pressure and be ready to handle various situations, from theft prevention to emergency response. A valid security license and first aid certification are essential. Flexibility in working hours is required, as this role may involve shift work, including evenings and weekends.
