Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional aspects of outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and other landscaped areas. Your primary duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and ensuring that flower beds and borders are kept tidy and healthy. You will also be responsible for litter picking, leaf clearance, and assisting in the installation of new plantings and landscape features. A keen eye for detail and a passion for horticulture will be essential as you contribute to enhancing the beauty of our environment.

To be successful in this position, candidates should have previous experience in grounds maintenance or a similar role, along with a good understanding of plants, horticulture, and landscaping techniques. You should be physically fit and able to work outdoors in various weather conditions. A valid driver's license and the ability to operate landscaping machinery, such as lawnmowers, strimmers, and blowers, are also required. You will need to work effectively within a team and demonstrate strong communication skills to liaise with colleagues and clients.
