Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of various outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and public areas. Your primary duties will include mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding flower beds, and ensuring pathways and outdoor facilities are clean and safe for public use. You will also assist in planting and maintaining flower displays, as well as managing general upkeep tasks such as litter collection and leaf clearance.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and have a keen interest in horticulture. You should be comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools, and a valid driver's license is essential. A good understanding of health and safety regulations is also important to ensure a safe working environment.
