Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mobile Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the appearance of various grounds and outdoor spaces. Your duties will include mowing, edging, and trimming lawns; planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; and maintaining pathways and garden furniture. You will operate and maintain various tools and equipment, ensuring they are kept in good working condition and reporting any issues promptly. A keen eye for detail is essential as you will be expected to identify and address any potential hazards or maintenance needs.

To excel in this position, you should possess a strong understanding of horticultural practices and grounds maintenance techniques. Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable. You must have a valid driver's license and be prepared to travel to multiple sites as part of your daily responsibilities. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with team members and occasionally interact with clients. A positive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
