Director of Government Partnerships

We are seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Government Partnerships to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing partnerships with government entities at local, state, and federal levels. Your primary focus will be to identify opportunities for collaboration, create proposals that align with governmental priorities, and advocate for our organization’s mission. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that our programs and services are effectively communicated to government representatives, fostering strong relationships that lead to sustainable partnerships.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of government operations and policy-making processes, along with a proven track record of successful partnership development. Responsibilities will include conducting research to identify potential funding opportunities, leading negotiations to secure contracts and grants, and representing the organization at public forums, workshops, and conferences. You will oversee the implementation of partnership initiatives, monitor progress, and report outcomes to senior leadership. Strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit are essential for success in this role.

To be considered, candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or a related field (a Master’s degree is preferred), along with at least 7 years of experience in government relations or partnership development. A demonstrated ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders is crucial.
