Welder/Fabricator – St Helens

Job Description:

A Star Recruitment, St Helens branch are currently recruiting for experienced Welders to join our well-established client based in St Helens. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates looking for long-term, full-time work within a busy and supportive manufacturing environment.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday, 07:00am – 17:15pm, offering a great work-life balance with a 4-day working week.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out MIG welding duties to a high standard, working from basic engineering drawings and following specifications and instructions carefully to ensure quality and efficiency at all times. Duties will also include the use of various hand and power tools, preparing materials, checking finished work, and working as part of a team to manufacture commercial vehicle bodies. Full training on company products and procedures will be provided.

Candidates should have previous MIG welding experience, be able to work independently as well as within a team, and have a strong attention to detail. Reliability, good timekeeping, and a positive attitude towards health and safety are essential.

An on-site welding assessment/interview will be required prior to starting.

Pay Rate: £14ph
