Area Security Officer

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Area Security Officer to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment across multiple locations within your designated area. Your primary duties will include conducting regular security patrols, monitoring surveillance equipment, and inspecting buildings and access points to ensure safety protocols are upheld. You will act as a first responder to security incidents, providing immediate assistance and reporting any irregularities to the appropriate authorities. Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with local law enforcement and emergency services, fostering a cooperative relationship to enhance community safety.

The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with previous experience in security or law enforcement. You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as you will be preparing reports and interacting with the public and staff. A valid security license and CPR/First Aid certification are preferred. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends, is essential.
