Looking to start a career in education but don’t have Qualified Teacher Status? Or perhaps you’re ready for a career change and want to gain real classroom experience before deciding on your next step?

We’re looking for confident, reliable and enthusiastic people to join our team as Trainee Unqualified Teachers / Cover Supervisors, working in secondary schools across South Yorkshire.
As a supply agency, we work with a wide range of schools, including Multi-Academy Trusts and Local Authority secondary schools, giving you the opportunity to gain experience in different settings while developing your skills and confidence in the classroom.
No previous teaching qualification is required. If you’ve worked with young people, have a degree, or simply have the confidence to lead a classroom, we’ll provide the training and ongoing support you need to get started.
What you’ll be doing

• Delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Managing classroom behaviour and keeping students engaged with their learning.
• Supporting pupils across a range of subjects in secondary schools.
• Building positive relationships with staff and students.
• Gaining valuable school-based experience that could lead to further opportunities.

Full training providedWe’ll give you everything you need to feel confident before you step into the classroom, including:

• Cover Supervisor and classroom management training.
• Safeguarding and compliance training.
• Ongoing CPD and additional training to help you develop your skills.
• Continued support from an experienced education recruitment team.
