Provide Education is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Rotherham from September 2026. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, initially for the autumn term, with the potential to continue for the remainder of the academic year.
The RoleAs a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4). Your responsibilities will include assisting teachers during lessons, supporting students in small groups and, where required, providing 1:1 support for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) to help them access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants (LSAs), SEN Teaching Assistants or graduates looking to gain valuable secondary school experience.
Requirements

• Previous experience working with secondary-aged students
• Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
