FLT Waste Operative PM Shift

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented FLT Waste Operative for our PM Shift to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to manage and transport waste materials throughout our facility. Your primary duties will include loading and unloading waste from designated areas, ensuring proper sorting and disposal procedures are followed, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. You will also be responsible for conducting regular checks on the FLT to ensure it is in safe working condition and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will possess a valid FLT license and have experience operating Forklift Trucks in a waste management or industrial setting. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential, as you will be handling various types of waste materials. You should be physically fit and able to lift heavy items when necessary. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are also important, as you will collaborate with other operatives to ensure efficient waste processing.
