About the Role

We are recruiting an experienced SEN Teacher to support one of our partner schools in Walsall. This role is ideal for a passionate educator with experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, ASD, MLD, SLD, or behavioural needs.

You will be working through our education agency, giving you access to a range of flexible opportunities, including:

• Immediate‑start teaching roles
• Short‑term and long‑term placements

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for pupils with a range of SEN needs
• Provide a supportive, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and support teams
• Use effective behaviour‑management strategies to promote positive learning
• Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and staff
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet EHCP targets and individual learning plans
• Monitor progress and maintain accurate pupil records

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience working with vulnerable children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting
• Strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive teaching
• Resilient, patient, and calm approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
