Teaching Assistant - Foundation Stage

Are you a kind, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for an opportunity to join our successful and supportive school community?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and effective Teaching Assistant to support children’s learning, development and well-being within our Foundation Stage.

This is a Classroom Teaching Assistant position, working 25 hours per week, term time only. The role is temporary until August 2027.

The Role

Working under the direction and supervision of the Class Teacher, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning and helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging environment for all children.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Class Teacher with teaching and learning activities within the classroom.
• Providing general classroom support and assisting with the effective management of pupils.
• Helping to create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and positive learning environment.
• Supporting the inclusion of all pupils and ensuring that every child has equal access to opportunities to learn, develop and achieve.
• Building positive relationships with children and supporting their individual needs and development.
• Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of all children within the school.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to contribute to a positive and successful learning environment.
