Team NursLink are recruiting an Income & Admin Officer to join a busy Care & Support team based at the Arlington Road office in Camden on an 8-week fixed-term assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting customers to sustain their tenancies while ensuring income processes and financial administration run smoothly.

Your Role

As an Income & Administration Officer, you’ll work closely with colleagues and customers to provide practical advice, manage rent accounts and support income collection while delivering high-quality administrative support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing rent accounts and supporting customers with sustainable payment arrangements
  • Providing advice on budgeting, benefits, debt management and financial wellbeing
  • Supporting customers using Trauma-Informed Care and Psychologically Informed Environment (PIE) principles
  • Assisting with rent arrears management and tenancy sustainment
  • Maintaining accurate tenancy, income and financial records
  • Producing rent statements, reports and operational documentation
  • Administering petty cash and supporting income and expenditure monitoring
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a professional, customer-focused service

What You’ll Need

  • Experience in income collection, rent arrears management, tenancy support, housing or financial administration
  • Experience supporting vulnerable individuals or working in a customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication, organisational and administration skills
  • Strong IT, literacy and numeracy skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
  • A resilient, empathetic and solution-focused approach
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service

Desirable

  • Knowledge of welfare benefits and housing benefit systems
  • Experience within housing, supported housing or care and support services
  • Understanding of debt management and income maximisation
  • Experience using housing management or rent accounting systems
  • Knowledge of tenancy sustainment best practice
