Overheads Linesmen

Our client, a prominent company in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) sector, is seeking Overhead Linesmen to join their team on a contract basis in Cambridgeshire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working on UK Power Networks (UKPN) projects, specifically focusing on 11kv pole work
• Installing, maintaining, and repairing overhead power lines and associated equipment
• Conducting routine inspections and ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Identifying and addressing potential issues with overhead lines
• Collaborating effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Ensuring all work is carried out to UKPN standards and LE1 UKPN ticket requirements
• Maintaining accurate records of work performed

Job Requirements:

• Experience in overhead line work, particularly with 11kv poles
• LE1 UKPN ticket is mandatory
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures in the T&D industry
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time efficiently
• Good physical condition and ability to perform manual labour tasks
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
