Civil Engineer (all levels)

Our client, a fast-growing and award-winning Civil Engineering and Transport Planning consultancy, is currently seeking Civil Engineers at all levels to join their dynamic highways team. This is an exciting permanent opportunity to work on a range of fast-paced and complex schemes across various clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design of drainage systems, highway layouts, and S278/S38 schemes
• Undertake design work in accordance with Sewers for Adoption, building regulations, and the SuDS Manual
• Ensure high-quality drawing packages are produced consistently
• Manage client interactions for designated aspects of projects
• Support senior team members with project completion
• Mentor and train junior staff members
• Collaborate closely with local authorities, developers, and architects
• Attend client meetings and undertake site visits as necessary

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Site 3D or equivalent 3D software
• Experience in drainage design and SuDS implementation
• Strong understanding of relevant standards and codes such as Design Manual for Roads and Bridges, and Manual for Streets
• HND, BEng, MEng, or MSc in Civil Engineering
• Working towards or holding professional accreditation with the ICE
• Experience within a civil engineering consultancy, working with various stakeholders
• Ability and willingness to learn various engineering software
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing technical reports (e.g., Flood Risk Assessments)
