About the role
Requirements of the role:
- Candidates must demonstrate a passion for zero emission / renewable energy
- Candidates must be Degree qualified within Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (required standard: 1st class degree (desirable), PhD, or equivalent)
- A very high level of competence within electrical engineering from first principles with the ability to be the technical authority
- A good level of competence within mechanical and controls engineering fields
- Knowledge of hydrogen fuel cells (desirable)
- Experience of working with LV, MV & HV power systems
- Capable of presenting engineering concepts to peers and discuss proposals in detail
- Ability to self-lead R&D work
- Knowledge of and experience of working with relevant directives and standards
- Ability to liaise, coordinate and communicate with a range of audiences of varying technical backgrounds and abilities
- Holding CEng status or working towards this (desirable)
