PMO Manager

PMO Manager - Software Development / Delivery - Reporting - Glasgow 5 days onsite - outside IR35

I have an immediate opportunity for an experienced PMO Manager to own programme reporting and governance across software development and delivery work. The role will require you to work fully onsite in Glasgow.

As PMO Manager, you will bring consistency, accuracy and clarity to how change is tracked and reported at senior levels. You'll be a key point of contact between delivery teams and decision-makers, translating technical progress into concise board-level material that creates an impact.

What you'll be doing

• Owning programme reporting across software development and software delivery initiatives.
• Producing board and senior investment packs that clearly communicate status and progress.
• Creating and maintaining RAG reports to track delivery performance and risk.
• Using delivery data, including from JIRA, to build accurate, insightful reporting.
• Preparing high-quality presentations for senior stakeholders and boards.
• Building strong stakeholder relationships to understand information needs and refine reporting.

What we're looking for

• Background in software development and software delivery environments.
• Proven PMO experience with a strong focus on programme reporting.
• Track record producing board and senior investment packs.
• Experience creating and managing RAG reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build credibility quickly.
• Strong presentation skills, able to convey detailed information clearly at senior level.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for building polished, high-impact packs.
• Experience working with JIRA for tracking and reporting.
