About The Role
Working within a specialist manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis turning centres to produce bespoke precision-engineered components.You will work from detailed engineering drawings, ensuring all products are manufactured to exact specifications and meet stringent quality standards.Key responsibilities include:
Programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis turning centresManufacturing high-precision components to fine tolerancesReading and interpreting engineering drawingsSelecting and using precision measuring equipmentInspecting completed components to ensure quality and complianceWorking safely within a controlled engineering environmentCollaborating with production and engineering teams to achieve delivery targets
What We are Looking For

Experience programming and operating CNC multi-axis turning centresAbility to read and interpret engineering drawingsExperience working to fine imperial and metric tolerancesStrong understanding of precision measurement equipmentPrevious experience within a manufacturing or engineering environmentExperience with Siemens and/or Mazak controls would be advantageousLevel 3 Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification
