We are currently seeking a dedicated and professional Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in East Grinstead. Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive 1:1 support for students with diverse learning requirements, facilitating effective access to the curriculum.
- Support small group learning initiatives to enhance academic progress and student confidence.
- Foster a secure, inclusive, and professional classroom environment that encourages student development.
- Implement structured learning plans in collaboration with teaching staff to monitor and report on student milestones.
- Utilise positive behaviour management strategies to maintain an environment conducive to learning.
- Maintain professional communication with faculty and families regarding student progression.
- Proven professional experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- A resilient and patient approach, demonstrating a genuine commitment to primary development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must possess the legal right to work in the UK and satisfy all safeguarding requirements, including an enhanced DBS check.
- Relevant certifications, such as Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualifications or specialised SEN training, are highly regarded.
