Pay Rate:

  • £14.24 per hour (£530 per week)

4-week Rotating Shift Pattern:

  • 06:00am to 14:00pm
  • 14:00pm to 22:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 hours per week

Duties Include:

  • Checking, weighing, and mixing ingredients accurately to ensure consistency in all product batches.
  • This includes measuring raw materials and preparing them in accordance with production schedules and specifications.
  • Monitoring quality throughout the production process, identifying any irregularities or issues, and escalating concerns to the team leader or supervisor when necessary.
  • Label printing, as well as managing label and packaging stock rotation, to ensure all products are correctly identified and traceable, and that older stock is used first.
  • Completing production, quality, and technical paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, ensuring full compliance with internal processes and external regulations.
  • Maintaining clean and tidy workspaces within the production area. This includes regular cleaning routines, following hygiene procedures, and contributing to a safe working environment for all team members.

Skills Required:

  • Previous experience working in a Food Production environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Understanding of Food Health and Safety guidelines, including hygiene standards, allergen control, and safe handling of ingredients and equipment.
