We are currently recruiting for a Facilities Manager to join a specialist school in Roehampton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and proactive facilities professional to oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and safety of the school site.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the school provides a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
The Role:

Managing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school site
Carrying out regular health and safety checks and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Overseeing contractors and coordinating planned and reactive maintenance
Managing site security, including opening and locking the premises
Completing minor repairs and maintenance tasks where appropriate
Monitoring facilities budgets and ordering supplies and equipment
Supporting the school with emergency procedures and site-related projects

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience in a Facilities Manager, Site Manager, or Caretaker role
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations and site compliance
Practical maintenance skills and the ability to carry out minor repairs
Organised, reliable, and able to work independently
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Enhanced DBS on the Children’s Workforce Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
