Grounds Maintenance Operative

We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal, health, and safety of outdoor spaces, including parks, gardens, and commercial properties. Your day-to-day duties will involve mowing lawns, trimming hedges, pruning trees, and planting flowers, ensuring that all areas are kept tidy and presentable. You will also operate a variety of landscaping equipment and tools, adhering to safety protocols to guarantee a secure working environment.

As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will collaborate closely with other team members to complete scheduled maintenance tasks efficiently. Your responsibilities will also include inspecting the grounds for any potential issues such as pests or diseases, and reporting them promptly to your supervisor. A strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are essential, as well as a willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Previous experience in grounds maintenance or landscaping is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates who demonstrate a passion for horticulture and outdoor work.
