Level 2 and 3 Nursery Practitioners – Gillingham

We are working closely with nurseries in Gillingham who are currently looking to build their team and are are hiring for passionate and knowledgeable Level 2 and 3 early years practitioners.

The successful candidate will have a Level 2 or above qualification in childcare, and have experience of working in a day nursery.

The role is a permanent position and the nursery are open to the room you can work in, based on your skills and strengths. The management team are very supportive and encourage personal development and movement into more senior roles, which is an option at this nursery and down the line.

The Ideal Nursery Practitioner

• A genuine passion for working with children and passionate about creating a fun, safe and stimulating environment for children
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good experience caring for children
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant Level 2 or above in Childcare
• 6 months experience working with Children as a Nursery Assistant or Nursery Nurse in a Nursery
• A valid, Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or, be willing to apply for a new certificate
• An understanding of the importance of safeguarding in an environment with children
• First Aid (Preferred)
