Mechanical Shift Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment within our facility. Your primary duties will include conducting regular inspections, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and implementing effective repair solutions to minimize downtime. You will collaborate closely with other engineering and maintenance staff to ensure compliance with safety standards and operational protocols. Additionally, you will be tasked with performing routine preventive maintenance, documenting all maintenance activities, and assisting in the training of junior engineers and technicians.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment. A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. You must have a solid understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and relevant engineering software. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment are essential. You will be expected to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, and must be willing to respond to emergency situations as they arise.
