About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced PMO Lead to join our team and drive the successful execution of our projects. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for establishing and managing the Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with our strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with project managers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to develop and maintain project management standards, methodologies, and best practices. Your expertise will help streamline project processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the overall quality of project delivery.
As the PMO Lead, you will oversee the portfolio of projects, providing guidance and support to project teams throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for monitoring project performance, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies. Additionally, you will facilitate project governance, ensuring that appropriate reporting and documentation are maintained. Key responsibilities include developing project roadmaps, managing resource allocation, and conducting regular project reviews to ensure alignment with business goals. Strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders are essential for this role.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, including at least 2 years in a PMO leadership role, is required. You should have a proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams. We are looking for a proactive problem solver with excellent organizational skills and a passion for driving continuous improvement within project management practices.
