Quantity Surveyor - Tunbridge Wells About the role of Quantity Surveyor Looking for a quantity surveyor to work on a long term commercial build. The project value is £5,000,000. Looking for someone who has experience delivering commercial, or refurbishment projects at a value over £1,000,000. Working across a range of commercial construction projects, you'll be responsible for managing costs from pre-construction through to final account, ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements. Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification • Commercial management of construction projects • Cost planning, valuations, and forecasting • Procurement and management of subcontractors • Managing variations and final accounts • Producing commercial reports and cost analysis • Liaising with clients, consultants, and project teams Requirements of Quantity Surveyor • Previous experience as a QS • Previous Quantity Surveying experience with a main contractor • Commercial construction background • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts • Excellent commercial and negotiation skills • Full UK Driving Licence The project is a commercial build and has a long duration.
